Mobile & Video Production Services – SFW Construction contacted Black Falcon Productions to design and produce multiple video marketing segments for their website. This campaign consists of over thirty different videos that showcase the company’s creative problem-solving abilities as they tackled difficult repairs in multiple residential and commercial buildings. In addition to the repair videos, SFW Construction wanted several Testimonial Videos and Sizzle Reels to showcase their excellent services and highly trained employees.

Highlighted Service Provided
Design and produce two different video marketing series containing over 15 videos each that showcase the two divisions of SFW Construction and their various capabilities in repair and restoration in Oregon and Washington. Produce two different motion graphics intros that would be included in each marketing video.
Issues included
Shooting on location at multiple construction venues with full crews and equipment. Most locations were uncovered and subject to environmental and weather-related issues. Some venues included lead paint removal, which required protection for crew members and hampered our ability to use certain equipment such as our drones that would stir up lead paint particulars. As with most construction locations, each venue frequently had equipment, vehicles and construction personnel coming and going throughout the day which made it difficult for audio technicians to record audio and narration. Those issues also caused more than one re-shoot when people or vehicles wondered into the scene or background.
In the majority of the videos produced for SFW Construction, each featured some form of voice over, narration or interview. While all of the various speakers were highly educated in their field of expertise, some were nervous speaking to the camera at the beginning. By the end of the shoot, all had become quite good at speaking to the camera with very few retakes. Getting someone to relax in front of the camera is an art form all in itself. Once again, “practice makes perfect”.
Solution for Problem
Black Falcon Productions is accustomed to working in environmentally challenging situations. Besides having a large contingent of protective equipment for our gear, crew members have learned that patience, flexibility, and perseverance are the only solutions for shooting in difficult locations. Our having a full array of various equipment and cameras frequently enabled us to use a different tool when necessary to overcome obstacles we couldn’t eliminate.
